Luiz Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Isaac Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 100 Chance's Luís Fábio Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 100 Chance's Luís Fábio Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save 100 Chance from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Genaro Argina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Fábio Machado. Genaro Argina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Marcones came free, but Luís Fábio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Marcones hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Albano Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luís Fábio Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Argina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Luís Fábio Machado made a huge save. Luís Fábio Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Seber went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Donato Bonifaco made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fábio Machado. 100 Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Genaro Argina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Genaro Argina put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Fábio Machado. In the 39th minute, Sebastião Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Andrade in the 42nd minute of play. Luís Fábio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Lizer in the 43rd minute of play. When Angelo Seme fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velez Sarsfield's protests and gave Angelo Seme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Meneses to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Isaac Marcones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez Sarsfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 57 minutes into the game, Velez Sarsfield's Isaac Marcones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fábio Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Angelo Seme hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Cearense came free, but Uriel Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Meneses in the 70th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Meneses, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Uriel Raymon was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Giovani Cearense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Fábio Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Maciel made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Velez Sarsfield's Donato Bonifaco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Meneses in the 86th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Marcones in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Isaac Marcones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Machado was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After 91 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Teixeira. Luís Fábio Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Marcones in the 94th minute of the match. Giovani Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Giovani Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Melchor Birila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fábio Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 100 Chance's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
