In the 6th minute, Jerry Lazure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimos Violopoulos struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Antonio Grossman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trifillia.FC. In the 12th minute, Gilbert Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hoyt Dove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Giorgos Kavouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Achilleas Karaflas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Antonio Grossman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 played minutes Jagiellonia Denver got a freekick which was hit by Hoyt Dove. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Pena got free with Giorgos Kavouras in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Achilleas Karaflas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Grossman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Jagiellonia Denver got a freekick which was hit by Danial Edmondson. Dimos Violopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jagiellonia Denver's Antonio Grossman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Karaflas in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achilleas Karaflas in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Grossman saved Jagiellonia Denver from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achilleas Karaflas in the 46th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Antonio Grossman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Achilleas Karaflas sped through Jagiellonia Denver's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antonio Grossman. The Jagiellonia Denver players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trifillia.FC were winning 0-3.
The wind increased when Achilleas Karaflas made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Jagiellonia Denver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micah LeBatelier to maneuver through the defense. The Trifillia.FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Trifillia.FC's Achilleas Karaflas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Markos Sotiriadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Antonio Grossman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 68 in the game by Achilleas Karaflas from a close distance when the talented Antonio Grossman managed to make a qualified save. Jagiellonia Denver's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achilleas Karaflas in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Grossman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Gilbert Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jagiellonia Denver's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trifillia.FC the free kick. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Jagiellonia Denver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Grossman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achilleas Karaflas in the 74th minute. Antonio Grossman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Periklis Dentsas's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Achilleas Karaflas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Antonio Grossman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ntinos Kyzeridis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 82nd playminute. Antonio Grossman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Karaflas in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Micah LeBatelier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgos Kavouras. Trifillia.FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micah LeBatelier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The audience was convinced that Achilleas Karaflas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Grossman was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Trifillia.FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jagiellonia Denver.
