Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmund Runberg made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Ödman in the 8th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júnior Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Arne Ödman's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Ödman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Stig-Arne Ödman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Jonny Cane got a free kick in the 16th minute. Marquinhos Coelho took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Östen Walroth. Östen Walroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pena came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, AC Mayonnaise's Jonny Cane tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Coelho came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östen Walroth came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Júlio Pena. But to his dismay, Júlio Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 34th minute Júlio Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Östen Walroth came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Marquinhos Coelho. But to his dismay, Marquinhos Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Coelho in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marquinhos Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Östen Walroth was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Sundberg came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Danone CC's Jairo Macedo was substituted for Marquinhos Coelho. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Macedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Macedo. 59 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Júlio Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Östen Walroth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Östen Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Macedo in the 67th minute of play. Dito Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dito Braga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Danone CC's zone, Jonny Cane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Massa came out of the goal and Jonny Cane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Pena in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Jairo Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Otávio Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Runberg in the 80th minute. Otávio Massa made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Edmund Runberg sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Stig-Arne Ödman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Otávio Massa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute Jairo Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danone CC were furious when Lamar Walls was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Danone CC! Jonny Cane shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 93 minutes into the match, Júlio Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Östen Walroth. AC Mayonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Danone CC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
