Pablo Sigberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Hønning's Ulrik Wieder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabri Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hønning's Ferdinand Romholt got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Romholt came free, but Gabri Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ferdinand Romholt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hønning's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Romholt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabri Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Olarticoechea hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Samson Erreboe kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Eberhardt Næsager kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Albano Francho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pablo Sigberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Arias in the 33rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, AFC FUSION's Pablo Sigberg threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nunez Arias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 35 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Eberhardt Næsager. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nunez Arias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AFC FUSION's Albano Francho got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samson Erreboe hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Ferdinand Romholt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC FUSION's Gabri Arias did a great save. Ferdinand Romholt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabri Arias having to make a save. Gabri Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Romholt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Ferdinand Romholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabri Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Veronica in the 72nd minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Pablo Sigberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Silvestre Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 78 minutes, Leonides Txanton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC FUSION and the Hønning players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Txanton. After recieving a nice pass, Hønning's Ferdinand Romholt tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. AFC FUSION's Leonides Txanton got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Leonides Txanton off the ground. Leonides Txanton hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. AFC FUSION's Gabri Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Romholt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Silvestre Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Sigberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION's Albano Francho got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hønning players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFC FUSION.
