Andrey Lisnyanskiy hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Klim Muravev came free, but Pablo Sigberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Romholt to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Sigberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Grek in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Eberhardt Næsager. 23 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Romholt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martyn Baiseitov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Boris Nekrasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Eberhardt Næsager. After 33 minutes of play, FC Caspiy's Klim Muravev made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Sigberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Domeiko kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. FC Caspiy's Martyn Baiseitov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Romholt in the 40th minute of play. Ulrik Wieder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Martyn Baiseitov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Romholt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Martyn Baiseitov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timur Grek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ferdinand Romholt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eberhardt Næsager hit a great ball. FC Caspiy made a substitution. Artem Yastrebov replaced Timur Grek. Hønning's Eberhardt Næsager quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valeriy Kiselev, made in the 59th minute of the game. Klim Muravev took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Sigberg. Pablo Sigberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eberhardt Næsager during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Eberhardt Næsager. In the 69th minute Artem Yastrebov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Sigberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Caspiy were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Hønning's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimir Bogdanov took the corner. The corner led FC Caspiy's Vladimir Bogdanov to fire away a dangerous shot which Pablo Sigberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ferdinand Romholt charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Romholt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Romholt. In the 75th minute, Eberhardt Næsager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyn Baiseitov was a little too slow when Ferdinand Romholt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-4. Pablo Sigberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artem Yastrebov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Sigberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klim Muravev in the 84th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Samson Erreboe. 89 minutes into the match, FC Caspiy's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Romholt came free, but Martyn Baiseitov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Artem Yastrebov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Sigberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hønning defense, Artem Yastrebov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Sigberg. The Hønning fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Sigberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Romholt in the 95th minute of play forced FC Caspiy's goalkeeper Martyn Baiseitov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
