Patricio Kaiet started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Astor Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TORQUE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. Astor Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Ismael Manilan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patricio Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Horacio Matthew ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Travassos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Patricio Kaiet kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Jorginho Soares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julian Eutropio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Kaiet kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Julian Eutropio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Magalhães in the 25th minute. Filipe Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Jorginho Soares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 44 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Matthew came free, but Filipe Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Internazionale-RS's Filipe Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Kaiet in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Santana was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Kaiet hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Horacio Matthew received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filipe Travassos came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Matthew slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho de Amaral in the 59th minute of play forced TORQUE F.C.'s goalkeeper Julian Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Britto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Kaiet in the 64th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Filipe Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Travassos was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Patricio Kaiet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Kaiet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when TORQUE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Internazionale-RS's zone, Horacio Matthew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Travassos came out of the goal and Horacio Matthew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Filipe Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Matthew. Horacio Matthew received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filipe Travassos came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Matthew slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 87th minute. Ronaldinho de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The TORQUE F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TORQUE F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
