Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Patrício to make the kick off. Cesário Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unax Valdovinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Patrício got free with Rey Cerezuela in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Joaquim Palhares made a precise shot to the right of Rey Cerezuela. UD ZAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Rey Cerezuela was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Vítor Patrício capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vítor Patrício really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. With a little luck, UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela got control of the ball when Vítor Patrício tried to sneak it across the goal line.
