Vivaldo Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Manuel Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernani Paraense, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gustavo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Gaueko in the 12th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gaueko came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes, Agostinho Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BURITIS FC and the Bancruz F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Agostinho Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Gaueko in the 22nd minute of play forced BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Johans scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Unai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Bancruz F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Manuel Gaueko hit a great ball. Rubens Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Chale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubens Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Rubens Reis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Paraense. 39 minutes into the match, Evaristo Johans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Unai. BURITIS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Johans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 41 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Eztebe. In the 42nd minute, Ernani Paraense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bancruz F.C's Gregorio Chale didn't even have to move. 46 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BURITIS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bancruz F.C the free kick. Manuel Gaueko scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Unai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Johans to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Bancruz F.C defense, Rubens Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Chale. The Bancruz F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Chale should have stopped the shot. When Vivaldo Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the BURITIS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Veiga couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes of play BURITIS FC's Ernani Paraense was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when BURITIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Eztebe's late challenge caught a BURITIS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Eztebe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BURITIS FC booed when Bancruz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Evaristo Johans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Unai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Johans came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Godoi. When Evaristo Johans came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bancruz F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Johans couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gaueko in the 87th minute of play. Edson Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bancruz F.C's Evaristo Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The BURITIS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bancruz F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
