The audience was convinced that Evaristo Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ardahan Hekimbaşı was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When Abdurrezzak Ünveren fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's protests and gave Abdurrezzak Ünveren a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 17 in the game by Abdurrezzak Ünveren from a close distance when the talented Gregorio Chale managed to make a qualified save. Bancruz F.C's players were relieved. Gregorio Chale was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Hakkı Kenan Uygun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hakkı Kenan Uygun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Çetin Dahi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's zone, Pedro Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ardahan Hekimbaşı came out of the goal and Pedro Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Kenan Uygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Gregorio Chale managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Abdurrezzak Ünveren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute, Teodoro Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdurrezzak Ünveren got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdurrezzak Ünveren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Coşkun Oğuzhan hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Johans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Evaristo Johans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ardahan Hekimbaşı. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Johans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Manuel Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ardahan Hekimbaşı made a huge save. Hakkı Kenan Uygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Chale having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Evaristo Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Evaristo Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Altuğ Başhekim made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Johans came free, but Ardahan Hekimbaşı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Hakkı Kenan Uygun managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakkı Kenan Uygun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Chale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ardahan Hekimbaşı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Johans, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Evaristo Johans came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bancruz F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Johans couldn't finish the play.
