Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petros Malioufas started the match with the kick off. Pavlos Kazakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Bertil Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes The Wild Bunch got a freekick which was hit by Axel Boberg. Egil Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Karamichas in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Wild Bunch's zone, Chatziantoniou Michail stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Örnberg came out of the goal and Chatziantoniou Michail tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Petros Malioufas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. AC Milan's Kostas Tsioris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Zachrisson in the 30th minute of play. Kostas Tsioris came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by The Wild Bunch's Bertil Sandell. But to his dismay, Bertil Sandell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 36th minute, The Wild Bunch's Axel Boberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Axel Boberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Wild Bunch protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Axel Boberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Panos Karamichas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Karamichas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Örnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg got control of the ball when Petros Malioufas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egil Örnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petros Malioufas in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Ingvar Tholsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, The Wild Bunch's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Malioufas came free, but Egil Örnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Sandell made a kick off. If Petros Malioufas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Malioufas in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Örnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egil Örnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavlos Kazakis went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the game, Petros Malioufas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Egil Örnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the match, Petros Malioufas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Örnberg. The Wild Bunch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petros Malioufas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. A collision led to The Wild Bunch getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ingvar Tholsson hit a great ball. Egil Örnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petros Malioufas's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Chatziantoniou Michail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Örnberg having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, The Wild Bunch's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Malioufas came free, but Egil Örnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AC Milan booed when The Wild Bunch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panos Karamichas, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Miltiadis Tsouchtras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egil Örnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petros Malioufas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Kent Malmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Tsioris came out of the goal and Kent Malmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC Milan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
