After 15 minutes, Ronaldinho Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Club Atletico Policial players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Meira. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Policial's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Donatello came free, but Delmar Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Jorginho Mazza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Delmar Gabon, passed just outside the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Natalio Larpe put in a rough tackle. Leonel Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Mazza in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Wilian de Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmar Gabon. Wilian de Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Morro Grande E.C's Wilian de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Gabon was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Wilian de Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilian de Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Edelmiro Moise might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christiano Trevisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edelmiro Moise ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Atletico Policial's Claudio Charro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Charro made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Claudio Charro made a precise shot to the right of Christiano Trevisan. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 55th minute Jorginho Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Jorge Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian de Almeida in the 59th minute of play. Delmar Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
