After a rather tough play, The Wild Bunch's Markus Zachrisson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Edelmiro Moise's late challenge caught a The Wild Bunch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Moise helped the player get up and apologised. Edelmiro Moise hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Sandell in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Goyo saved Club Atletico Policial from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Gerardo Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Abelsson in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Markus Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Club Atletico Policial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Moise to maneuver through the defense. Luis Isadore hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, The Wild Bunch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Malmberg in the 27th minute of play. Pål Bergkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Nicasio Goyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertil Sandell went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Bernt Abelsson made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Goyo. Club Atletico Policial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. It was beautiful to see The Wild Bunch's Axel Boberg in action when he in the 40th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some careless play in the Club Atletico Policial defense, Bertil Sandell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Goyo. The Club Atletico Policial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Goyo should have stopped the shot. Nicasio Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Charro to make the kick off. Egil Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Charro in the 52nd minute of play. Club Atletico Policial's Nicasio Goyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Policial from getting a goal against them. Bertil Sandell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Nicasio Goyo made a huge save. Nicasio Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Malmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Larpe during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of The Wild Bunch booed when Club Atletico Policial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Larpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Bertil Sandell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertil Sandell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Nicasio Goyo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Abelsson in the 73rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Policial's goalkeeper Nicasio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, The Wild Bunch's Bertil Sandell made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Goyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, The Wild Bunch's Pål Bergkvist got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 83 minutes Club Atletico Policial's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernt Abelsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bernt Abelsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Policial's Nicasio Goyo did a great save. If Robin Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Goyo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Bertil Sandell sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Isadore during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Club Atletico Policial fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Wild Bunch were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
