AC Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorginho Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonel Donatello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kostas Tsioris. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. AC Milan's Kostas Tsioris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. Christiano Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Malioufas in the 34th minute of play. Takis Tsirilidis charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Takis Tsirilidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Takis Tsirilidis hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Kostas Tsioris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian de Almeida's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half AC Milan were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. Kostas Tsioris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian de Almeida in the 52nd minute of the match. Kostas Tsioris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Miltiadis Tsouchtras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christiano Trevisan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Malioufas in the 64th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Christiano Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
