Orestis Katsadourakis hit a great ball. After 24 minutes of play, U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Tsioris was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Antonis Ikonomeas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taio Elias was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kostas Tsioris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Rienda went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Rienda came free, but Kostas Tsioris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alekos Volakis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Takis Tsirilidis charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
