Emanuel Savu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 22 minutes Galatasaray SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Niculae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1.
