The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes of play, A4p Dejani's Marius Niculae made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Tönnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! King Skott's late challenge caught a A4p Dejani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. King Skott helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A4p Dejani booed when Åhus Absolut F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. King Skott didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Åhus Absolut F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by King Skott to maneuver through the defense. Sverker Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Niculae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When A4p Dejani's Marius Niculae in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Åhus Absolut F.C's Sverker Tönnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Niculae in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Niculae came free, but Sverker Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Åhus Absolut F.C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Claes Brander hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Savu in the 33rd minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Sverker Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Moraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Hökqvist in the 36th minute of the match. Sverker Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Niculae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Bäcklin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Henrik Alebom hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sverker Tönnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Niculae in the 45th minute of the match. Sverker Tönnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marius Niculae went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dumitru Moraru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Skott's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Marius Niculae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Tönnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When King Skott came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Åhus Absolut F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Skott couldn't finish the play. Sverker Tönnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Niculae in the 73rd minute of the match. When Jan-Olof Bergendahl came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Åhus Absolut F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Bergendahl couldn't finish the play. After having played for 78 minutes, King Skott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åhus Absolut F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but King Skott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Marius Niculae reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sverker Tönnberg. The goal made the score 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A4p Dejani had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
