Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The SeleSantos FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when SeleSantos FC's Abelardo de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute, Vânderson de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SeleSantos FC's Abelardo de Moraes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Alves. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. After 24 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Trigo. 28 minutes into the game, SeleSantos FC's Pedrão Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cássio do Vale took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Falcão in the 35th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SeleSantos FC's Pedrão Falcão in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mayhem Sharks's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Alves was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Alves. That made the score 5-0 after 38 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Freitas. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Fred Cruz got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Cruz made a kick off. Marcelo Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Falcão went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cássio do Vale put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Alves. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Cruz in the 63rd minute of play. Marcelo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The SeleSantos FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcelo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Falcão in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio do Vale in the 73rd minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Cássio do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Marcelo Alves came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale. But to his dismay, Cássio do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 87 minutes into the match, Abelardo de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Alves. Mayhem Sharks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Marcelo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo de Moraes in the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mayhem Sharks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vânderson de Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time SeleSantos FC's players had a chance to rest. SeleSantos FC's Vânderson de Moraes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Alves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SeleSantos FC's Abelardo de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SeleSantos FC fully deserved thier win.
