Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Fomichev in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute Pavel Fomichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Fomichev. In the 20th minute, Riccardo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Denis Ispovednikov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Pavel Fomichev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ton Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Ispovednikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Pavel Fomichev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ispovednikov in the 38th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Danila Melnikov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Alves. The Mayhem Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Alves should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ton Torres was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Ton Torres got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Danila Melnikov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Alves. The goal made the score 0-4. Marcelo Alves made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Denis Ispovednikov sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Mikhail Guschin came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikhail Guschin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Alves having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Mikhail Guschin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Alves. The Mayhem Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Alves should have stopped the shot. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danila Melnikov in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Danila Melnikov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7.
