In the 18th minute Fred Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buğra Gazzali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfettin Cebeci in the 20th minute of play. When Sidnei Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mayhem Sharks's protests and gave Sidnei Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Cruz in the 29th minute of play forced S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's goalkeeper Buğra Gazzali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Bircan Bera came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Bircan Bera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Alves. The Mayhem Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Alves should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Baransel Kirmanşah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baransel Kirmanşah in the 89th minute of play. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baransel Kirmanşah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
