After 3 minutes, Dobromir Pilitowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jar.C Lipno and the FC Hollywood players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jar.C Lipno getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dobromir Pilitowski hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Boruc Pleban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Helmut Berrisch came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC Hollywood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helmut Berrisch couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Schröder in the 8th minute of play forced Jar.C Lipno's goalkeeper Tolek Mleczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Helmut Berrisch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Mleczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Arkadiusz Filipkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Schulz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Jar.C Lipno's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Schröder came free, but Tolek Mleczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobromir Pilitowski hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. FC Hollywood's Helmut Berrisch got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pankracy Nakoneczny in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Schulz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helmut Berrisch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tolek Mleczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Robin Platt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolek Mleczewski skillfully saved the ball. FC Hollywood's Jan Schulz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Pilitowski in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helmut Berrisch was the one to do the kick off. Tolek Mleczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Schröder in the 51st minute of the match. Adam Wawak hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tolek Mleczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Platt, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jar.C Lipno's Tolek Mleczewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Jar.C Lipno from getting a goal against them. Tolek Mleczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Schröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, FC Hollywood's Herbert Schröder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tolek Mleczewski. Tolek Mleczewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. David Nitsch charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Nitsch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jar.C Lipno booed when FC Hollywood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Nitsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes FC Hollywood got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Christian Ulrich. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Pilitowski in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Schulz saved FC Hollywood from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Nakoneczny in the 74th minute of play forced FC Hollywood's goalkeeper Jan Schulz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Mleczewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Schröder in the 78th minute. Johan Himmelmann hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Helmut Berrisch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tolek Mleczewski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Hollywood's Sascha Rothschild got a free kick in the 86th minute. Tolek Mleczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Schröder in the 89th minute of play. Jar.C Lipno's Tolek Mleczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Schröder in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Hugon Biraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Schulz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
