Seleykos Sklavenitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dennis Pander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambros Kaloxylos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Seleykos Sklavenitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Võ Tấn Dũng in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Võ Tấn Dũng in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seleykos Sklavenitis saved Unione Sportiva from getting behind. Dennis Pander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacharias Lakiotis in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes, Charalambos Christou made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Dennis Pander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th match minute, Unione Sportiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Samios to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Hans Kuypers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seleykos Sklavenitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charalambos Christou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Pander came out and tried to block the shot, but Charalambos Christou slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Tấn Dũng in the 42nd minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Seleykos Sklavenitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Unione Sportiva from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the game, Charalambos Christou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Dennis Pander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Wilfred Tollenaar fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Ontembare Leeuwen's protests and gave Wilfred Tollenaar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Zacharias Lakiotis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and De Ontembare Leeuwen's Dennis Pander didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Võ Tấn Dũng during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Võ Tấn Dũng to maneuver through the defense. Seleykos Sklavenitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Kuypers in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes, Unione Sportiva's Zacharias Lakiotis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Pander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unione Sportiva reached it. Charalambos Christou took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Pander. Dennis Pander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Oileus Mavrostomos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Dennis Pander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambros Kaloxylos in the 82nd minute of play. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Võ Tấn Dũng got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Võ Tấn Dũng off the ground. In the 84th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram de Backer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Zacharias Lakiotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unione Sportiva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacharias Lakiotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Zacharias Lakiotis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Pander. De Ontembare Leeuwen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacharias Lakiotis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Dennis Pander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charalambos Christou went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. The Unione Sportiva support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
