Moisés da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafaela FC's Zeledon Locaio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moisés da Silveira. That made the score 3-1 after 27 minutes of play. Grêmio Papão de WC's Luiz Fábio Vinhas was substituted for Eduardo Miranda. Moisés da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Locaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Amato came free, but Moisés da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Lon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. In the 87th minute Zeledon Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luiz Maia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. In the 94th minute of the match Ivan Jon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés da Silveira skillfully saved the ball. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Zeledon Locaio scored 8-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
