The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Lon came free, but Gencalp Öktem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Perpinya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencalp Öktem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Edgard Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencalp Öktem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakup Kadri Akbatur in the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yakup Kadri Akbatur came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by kaya Acarbay in the 24th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yakup Kadri Akbatur came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Roque Marko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafaela FC and the Hendek Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Rafaela FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Güneri Canpolat's late challenge caught a Rafaela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güneri Canpolat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Hendek Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güneri Canpolat to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Silvio Esiquio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gencalp Öktem. The goal made the score 2-0. Gencalp Öktem made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Juan Perpinya sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Locaio was the one to do the kick off. Gencalp Öktem came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela FC's Zeledon Locaio. But to his dismay, Zeledon Locaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gencalp Öktem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Tayfur Başöz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hendek Spor Kulübü's protests and gave Tayfur Başöz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Tayfur Başöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. kaya Acarbay hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rafaela FC's Eriberto Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zeledon Locaio sped through Hendek Spor Kulübü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gencalp Öktem. Zeledon Locaio took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gencalp Öktem. Gencalp Öktem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gencalp Öktem came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela FC's Eriberto Navarro. But to his dismay, Eriberto Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Gencalp Öktem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Locaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute of the match, Yakup Kadri Akbatur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prospero Calvino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Juan Perpinya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gencalp Öktem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Gencalp Öktem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Gencalp Öktem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İlkan Hazlan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Juan Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencalp Öktem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hendek Spor Kulübü defense, Zeledon Locaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencalp Öktem. The Hendek Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencalp Öktem should have stopped the shot. Rafaela FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
