In the 8th minute, Lázaro Cordarius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Prospero Calvino was a little too slow when Teobaldo Fertus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. Zeledon Locaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The De Boedo Vengo fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when De Boedo Vengo's Adrian Bortzaioriz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Fertus in the 18th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Calvino made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Severino Vargas sent off a good shot on target. Lázaro Cordarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Prospero Calvino made a huge save. With an all-out effort, De Boedo Vengo's Prospero Calvino threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teobaldo Fertus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Silvio Esiquio got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Romeo Urtungo scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Prospero Calvino who was too lazy, 4-0. In the 31st play minute Lázaro Cordarius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Prospero Calvino. 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Bortzaioriz got free with Prospero Calvino in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Edgard Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Cordarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Prospero Calvino made a huge save. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. 6-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Romeo Urtungo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Adrian Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Urtungo in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Teobaldo Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Locaio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bortzaioriz came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Romeo Urtungo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 60th minute, Adrian Bortzaioriz made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Calvino. Rafaela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 63 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bortzaioriz came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Urtungo came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Calvino came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by De Boedo Vengo's Romeo Urtungo. But to his dismay, Romeo Urtungo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 74 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Kemen came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Adrian Bortzaioriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Calvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. After 86 minutes of play, De Boedo Vengo's Teobaldo Fertus made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bortzaioriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Silvio Esiquio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rafaela FC! Teobaldo Fertus shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bortzaioriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
