Leonides Enaut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Kiliz having to make a save. In the 46th minute Maximiliano Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Sánchez was the one to do the kick off. Sivert Sander might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Kiliz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Sander ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Kiliz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Eron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Sánchez came free, but Henry Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dennis Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUSESI's goalkeeper Santos Kiliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dennis Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Kiliz having to interfere. When Dennis Malmberg fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polar Ice Caps's protests and gave Dennis Malmberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Malmberg to maneuver through the defense.
