Sören Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Faustão Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Termander. Gunnarsbyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustão Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Rony Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Sören Termander. Gunnarsbyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sören Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Augusto Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sören Termander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Lima in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif Söderberg during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Clube dos pro booed when Gunnarsbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Bäck kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Faustão Castro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Clube dos pro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Castro couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Stigsson made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Gunnarsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Sven Bäck. After a rather tough play, Gunnarsbyn's Sven-Olof Bergkvist got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sören Termander made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Doni Lima sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklin Zonta got free with Sören Termander in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Gunnarsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Bergkvist. Per Stigsson spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Clube dos pro's goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Urban Ahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunnarsbyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Ahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sven Bäck fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gunnarsbyn's protests and gave Sven Bäck a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Gunnarsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Sven Bäck. In the 87th minute, Rony Cordeiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Lima in the 93rd minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugênio Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Clube dos pro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gunnarsbyn throughout the match.
