After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Carlos Augusto Mazza got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cayetano Montae, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Honesto made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Wágner Fox sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Queirós in the 13th minute of the match. S4dm F.C.'s Pedro Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Queirós in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, S4dm F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Queirós came free, but Pedro Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Dantas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Cayetano Montae sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdemar Quadros skillfully saved the ball. S4dm F.C.'s Pedro Honesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save S4dm F.C. from getting a goal against them. Joaquim de Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Honesto having to make a save. S4dm F.C.'s Pedro Honesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save S4dm F.C. from getting a goal against them. Tostão Pernambucano charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tostão Pernambucano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S4dm F.C. booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Gai in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Pedro Honesto threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manfredo Cabral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Queirós got free with Pedro Honesto in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano de Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Fox, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Pedro Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Queirós in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, S4dm F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Fox came free, but Pedro Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The S4dm F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Honesto should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes S4dm F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Umbruso. 69 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Wágner Fox nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Honesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 73rd minute, Wágner Fox left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Betinho Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s protests and gave Betinho Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Betinho Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Montae struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Valdemar Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S4dm F.C.. In the 80th minute Wágner Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Marcus Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Honesto came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Joaquim de Queirós. But to his dismay, Joaquim de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 88 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Marcus Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Honesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 94 minutes of play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Cristiano de Moraes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Honesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
