Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erenay Mutluer started the match with the kick off. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erenay Mutluer in the 3rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Resul Eralkan put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Wágner Fox hit a great ball. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Damian, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Nando Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Soares in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Fox in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Muslera saved VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL from getting behind. If Costel Damian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Fox in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Ferid Cengel. Valdemar Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Basinski in the 26th minute. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Costel Damian got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano de Moraes in the 31st minute of play forced VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manfredo Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfredo Cabral couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vedat Nezir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Cristiano de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Damian kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Wágner Fox had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nando Muslera. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner Fox was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 42ndth minute of the game Cristiano de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Vedat Nezir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Cristiano de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cristiano de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Wiktor Basinski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros. Valdemar Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wiktor Basinski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Nando Muslera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Fox. After 63 minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cícero Veiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Cícero Veiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Nando Muslera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vedat Nezir thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nando Muslera, a very annoying self made goal in the 63rd minute which led to 1-2. In the 67th minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Cristiano de Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nando Muslera. Nando Muslera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Costel Damian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Quadros having to interfere. 1-4 became the score in the 74th minute when Cristiano de Moraes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Valdemar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Basinski in the 77th minute of play. Manfredo Cabral's late challenge caught a VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Manfredo Cabral hit a great ball. Wiktor Basinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Valdemar Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Basinski kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wiktor Basinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Quadros was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th minute Wiktor Basinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's much stronger midfield.
