Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evelio Ermano started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, GOD OF WAR's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Ermano came free, but Panos Karnezis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Ermano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panos Karnezis saved GOD OF WAR from getting behind. Zacarias Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Kounenakis in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, chacarita juniors's Jimeno Aimar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panos Karnezis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Zacarias Leoiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of chacarita juniors booed when GOD OF WAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakis Laboglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Ermano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panos Karnezis having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Lakis Laboglou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thrasivoulos Neopidis's late challenge caught a chacarita juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thrasivoulos Neopidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Thrasivoulos Neopidis. If Claudio Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Karnezis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Evelio Ermano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panos Karnezis. GOD OF WAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Ermano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Panos Karnezis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Demesio in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Evelio Ermano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Panos Karnezis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantinos Kounenakis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of chacarita juniors booed when GOD OF WAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fondas Sakaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panos Karnezis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Platon in the 57th minute. chacarita juniors's Zacarias Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Kounenakis in the 59th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Evelio Ermano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GOD OF WAR's Panos Karnezis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Evelio Ermano took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Panos Karnezis to make any attempt to save it. 72 minutes into the game, chacarita juniors's Evelio Ermano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panos Karnezis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With an all-out effort, chacarita juniors's Panos Karnezis threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Demesio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jimeno Aimar struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Panos Karnezis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chacarita juniors. Panos Karnezis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Aimar in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Fondas Katralikakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonas Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the chacarita juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Elivareo couldn't finish the play. When the match was over chacarita juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GOD OF WAR throughout the match.
