A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Fesport FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Claus came free, but Diagur Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Platon in the 15th minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Diagur Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Pandiani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Zacarias Leoiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Zacarias Leoiar managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Fesport FC's Walter Pandiani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Pacho Gonzalvez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Fesport FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacho Gonzalvez couldn't finish the play. Evelio Ermano took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diagur Infante. Diagur Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Aimar in the 35th minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Diagur Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Jonas Elivareo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Diagur Infante quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Diagur Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Aimar in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Jimeno Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diagur Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Aimar in the 41st minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Diagur Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, chacarita juniors's Hugo Platon got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A hard shot by Pacho Gonzalvez from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Zacarias Leoiar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the last second Zacarias Leoiar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Walter Pandiani in the 45thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Rogelio Carceles hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cipriano Vagrande's late challenge caught a chacarita juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Vagrande helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of chacarita juniors booed when Fesport FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Pandiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Leoiar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fesport FC's zone, Evelio Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diagur Infante came out of the goal and Evelio Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Zacarias Leoiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita juniors's zone, Natxo Valerón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Leoiar came out of the goal and Natxo Valerón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Fonticoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of chacarita juniors booed when Fesport FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Fonticoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita juniors's zone, Walter Pandiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Leoiar came out of the goal and Walter Pandiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Pandiani in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Leoiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diagur Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Aimar in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of chacarita juniors booed when Fesport FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argider Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diagur Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Ermano in the 94th minute of play. Diagur Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Ermano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Fesport FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching chacarita juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for chacarita juniors.
