Panos Karnezis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardas Bat, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Bengt Hamberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Hardas Bat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Karnezis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Hardas Bat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JKs Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardas Bat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the GOD OF WAR defense, Hardas Bat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panos Karnezis. The GOD OF WAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panos Karnezis should have stopped the shot. Panos Karnezis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardas Bat in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Villiam Lägdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JKs Talanger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOD OF WAR the free kick. After 29 played minutes JKs Talanger got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Lägdin. Konstantinos Kounenakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Malcolm Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, GOD OF WAR's Konstantinos Kounenakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malcolm Kruuse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Daniel Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Daniel Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Lakis Laboglou hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in GOD OF WAR's zone, Hardas Bat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panos Karnezis came out of the goal and Hardas Bat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Thanasis Toris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Thanasis Toris got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, GOD OF WAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Laboglou to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Kounenakis came free, but Malcolm Kruuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes JKs Talanger's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kostas Belesis who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Toris in the 63rd minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Malcolm Kruuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JKs Talanger's Malcolm Kruuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save JKs Talanger from getting a goal against them. In the 67th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Kostas Belesis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcolm Kruuse skillfully saved the ball. JKs Talanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstantinos Kounenakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
