The supporters of Club Deportivo Polonia booed when GOD OF WAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Toris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argyris Staboulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tohias Rossello having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantinos Kounenakis to make the kick off. In the 58th minute of the match Alvito Arribas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Panos Karnezis skillfully saved the ball. After 72 minutes, Alvito Arribas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Polonia and the GOD OF WAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. During the 75th minute of the match Fragiskos Bouzios completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fragiskos Bouzios a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th minute, Fragiskos Bouzios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvito Arribas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Panos Karnezis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beila Ladra in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Andoni Molina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Panos Karnezis. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Beila Ladra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Panos Karnezis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Deportivo Polonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
