Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) 9 minutes into the game, Emanuel Tancredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Diego Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Emanuel Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Emanuel Tancredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Diego Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Mercado Paulista F.C got a penalty, and Elvio Illart placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Diego Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Bonadona in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mercado Paulista F.C defense, Emanuel Tancredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Vargas. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Vargas should have stopped the shot. In the 36th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Illart to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Tancredo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Vargas. Diego Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Diego Vargas came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Olds School Pepo's Celestino Palos. But to his dismay, Celestino Palos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Mercado Paulista F.C's Diego Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Oskarbi in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Severo Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Victorio Quiroga got a free kick in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Gualterio Bonadona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Vargas. Gualterio Bonadona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. With an all-out effort, Olds School Pepo's Diego Vargas threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Tancredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emanuel Tancredo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Armando Rosalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Armando Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fernan Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albino Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mercado Paulista F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Asteri couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mercado Paulista F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Maximiliano Urtungo hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Emanuel Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mercado Paulista F.C's Diego Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mercado Paulista F.C from getting a goal against them. Gualterio Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's German Laurentzi got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Diego Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Bonadona. Thanks to some nice moves Gualterio Bonadona could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Diego Vargas however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Olds School Pepo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mercado Paulista F.C throughout the match.
