In the 16th minute of the match, Armando Rosalio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Ersman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 17 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Karl Stenkvist. Sunkens Surtröjor's Folke Ersman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sunkens Surtröjor from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Sunkens Surtröjor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Ersman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Rosalio went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Shantala in the 30th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Folke Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Bishen Cholas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Karl Stenkvist fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunkens Surtröjor's protests and gave Karl Stenkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Ramon Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bolin in the 36th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Matai. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Martin Bolin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ramon Shantala notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sunkens Surtröjor's Folke Ersman. Folke Ersman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malte Gerdberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sunkens Surtröjor's zone, Ramon Shantala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Ersman came out of the goal and Ramon Shantala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sunkens Surtröjor's Folke Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Shantala in the 67th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Sunkens Surtröjor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Ersman to maneuver through the defense. Diego Vargas, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Diego Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Ersman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Folke Ersman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Folke Ersman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Matai went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Folke Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Asteri in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Armando Rosalio notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sunkens Surtröjor's Folke Ersman. Folke Ersman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mercado Paulista F.C fully deserved thier win.
