Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Felix Laget started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Rickard Andreasson got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kent Backman made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Felix Laget sent off a good shot on target. After 14 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Bolin. 16 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Laget came free, but Kent Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute Felix Laget ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Kent Backman. 2-0. In the 22nd match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Chiffoleau to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Norrlands Athen's zone, Felix Laget stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Backman came out of the goal and Felix Laget tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Bergman to maneuver through the defense. Norrlands Athen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Moïse Hauser scored to the left of an out of position Kent Backman, making the score, 3-0. When Carl Biörk fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrlands Athen's protests and gave Carl Biörk a yellow card for diving instead. Carl Biörk hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kent Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Laget in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Kent Backman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Laget. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Julienne in the 47th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Kent Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Holger Lundin to strike the kick off in the second half. Kent Backman came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ground Control's Carlos Julienne. But to his dismay, Carlos Julienne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Per-Oskar Alefors got a free kick in the 60th minute. Batiste Lassalle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kent Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Laget, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Moy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Laget might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kent Backman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Laget ran back to his position shaking his head. Norrlands Athen's Kent Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Laget in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Carlos Julienne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Kent Backman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kent Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Julienne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Borgès didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batiste Lassalle's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batiste Lassalle helped the player get up and apologised. Batiste Lassalle kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
