Romeu Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacko Dubrovski in the 22nd minute of the match. Ordan Emini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Sarmento in the 23rd minute. When Edmílson Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Matorin couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ✩ Pep Team ✩ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Grigor Gerasimov hit a great ball. Romeu Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacko Dubrovski in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Božidar Pavleski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthians's Romeu Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Božidar Pavleski fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Urbano in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ordan Emini saved ✩ Pep Team ✩ from getting behind. Cacko Dubrovski might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacko Dubrovski ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Božidar Pavleski to make the kick off. If Božidar Pavleski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Božidar Pavleski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Romeu Souto made a huge save. Romeu Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Živko Kralevski in the 75th minute. When Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Corinthians's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
