After a rather tough play, Austra 04 VFC's Bruno de Castro got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Bebeto Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pogoń Staszów's Waldemar Dulka got control of the ball when Miguel Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Staszów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bebeto Baiano was slow to take the kick. During this time Austra 04 VFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Austra 04 VFC's corner Pedro Luís Paraibano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldemar Dulka quite easily take care of the ball. Bebeto Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Dulka having to make a save. Miguel Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Austra 04 VFC's Bruno de Castro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, Pogoń Staszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Filipkowski to maneuver through the defense. Bebeto Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Pancareken hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Siwek to make the kick off. Zachary Majorski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bebeto Baiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Dulka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Austra 04 VFC's Kit Vire got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kit Vire might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Dulka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kit Vire ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldemar Dulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kit Vire in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Bertassi in the 67th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Waldemar Dulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kit Vire kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fábio Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pogoń Staszów's Aleksander Gniech tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mauro Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kit Vire to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes of play, Austra 04 VFC's Miguel Bertassi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar Dulka was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Pogoń Staszów booed when Austra 04 VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austra 04 VFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
