Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Rogério Azenha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jorge Enol but with some difficulty. 10 minutes into the game, Rogério Azenha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Enol. Rogério Azenha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Clodoveo Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Olavo Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Eiró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Enol having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Azenha in the 37th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Jorge Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Heitor Neves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Heitor Neves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arrebimba o Malho SLB protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Heitor Neves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 39 minutes into the game, one of Arrebimba o Malho SLB:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Lyons a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clodoveo Llanos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Boy Fish. 3-2. 47 minutes into the game, Mario Ricart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrebimba o Malho SLB the free kick. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Olavo Eiró got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Almiro Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Arrebimba o Malho SLB got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Caires. In the 62nd minute of the match, Marco Quirze tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boy Fish saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 63 minutes of play, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Quim Barreiros made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Enol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Enol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Azenha in the 75th minute of the match. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Boy Fish proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Arrebimba o Malho SLB from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Quirze in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boy Fish prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Arrebimba o Malho SLB getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Quim Barreiros hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Rogério Azenha notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Lyons's Jorge Enol. Jorge Enol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Emilio Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almiro Camacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Boy Fish successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jorge Enol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quim Barreiros in the 97th minute of the match. After 99 minutes Lyons's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olavo Eiró who took care of the corner kick.
