In the 18th minute, Xerxes Kamper made a precise shot to the right of Ryszard Kempski. FC Lupus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 28th minute Kajetan Dobrzechowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Gönner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kay Gönner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Dobrzechowski in the 30th minute of the match. Kay Gönner made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Napoleon Kapelski sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Lupus booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergün Mütsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Marco Reinhart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Möhnsen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lupus the free kick. Marco Reinhart hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Czermak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Xerxes Kamper made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Sokol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kay Gönner. Möhnsen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zygmunt Sokol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Kaminski in the 63rd minute of play forced Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Kay Gönner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kacper Skwira hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Lupus getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Zygmunt Sokol hit a great ball. Kay Gönner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Sokol in the 72nd minute of the match. Kay Gönner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Dobrzechowski went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Zygmunt Sokol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wladyslaw Czermak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kay Gönner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Reinhart was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Möhnsen FC's Marco Reinhart got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes, FC Lupus's Wladyslaw Czermak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kay Gönner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lupus reached it. Kajetan Dobrzechowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kay Gönner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Hellmut Eilers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes of play, FC Lupus's Zygmunt Sokol made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kay Gönner was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Kaminski in the 93rd minute of play forced Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Kay Gönner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kay Gönner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Dobrzechowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Kaminski came free, but Kay Gönner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Möhnsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerxes Kamper to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the FC Lupus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
