Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Stelios Panagiotidis made the kick off and thus started the match. Baltasar Leobardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Themistoklis Charalambakis made a huge save. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when Los Guacho Pistola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spyros Psychountakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Brizuela. Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcos Brizuela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelios Panagiotidis's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Baltasar Leobardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Moustos succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Los Guacho Pistola's goal looked a bit too open when Stelios Panagiotidis came free, but Marcos Brizuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Brizuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Koukoulas in the 22nd minute of the match. Themistoklis Charalambakis made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Baltasar Leobardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Los Guacho Pistola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Darien to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Koukoulas in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Brizuela saved Los Guacho Pistola from getting behind. Stelios Panagiotidis took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Brizuela. Marcos Brizuela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dimitris Koukoulas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Brizuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltiadis Egomitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Leobardo came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Themistoklis Charalambakis could save by the left post. The Los Guacho Pistola players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Go Ahead Eagles were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Leobardo to make the kick off. If Dimitris Koukoulas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Brizuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Koukoulas in the 57th minute of play. Siro Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Stelios Panagiotidis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Koukoulas in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Brizuela saved Los Guacho Pistola from getting behind. After 77th play minutes Dimitris Koukoulas shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Marcos Brizuela and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 81st minute Go Ahead Eagles were awarded a corner. Spyros Psychountakis went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nikos Moustos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Moustos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Brizuela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lakis Patsoureas hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Baltasar Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Go Ahead Eagles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Guacho Pistola.
