Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedirhan Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Talip Yücel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ionel Panaitoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toader Ghișe's late challenge caught a CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. With his leg Ionel Panaitoiu managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's Talip Yücel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the game, CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's Uygur Akpınar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Panaitoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Uygur Akpınar took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ionel Panaitoiu to make any attempt to save it. Anton Păun charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Păun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Păun to maneuver through the defense. Talip Yücel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Ionel Panaitoiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uygur Akpınar took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Panaitoiu. Ionel Panaitoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Ionel Panaitoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedirhan Tan in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes CiZRe BoTaNSPoR got a freekick which was hit by Bahadır Yetişen. With a little luck, Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu got control of the ball when Talip Yücel tried to sneak it across the goal line.
