Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Talip Yücel started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 3rd minute of play forced CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's goalkeeper Bumin Baykutay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigitas Ivoška who took care of the corner kick. Bumin Baykutay came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Ivoška. But to his dismay, Sigitas Ivoška quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If İsrafil Yağız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bumin Baykutay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsrafil Yağız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigitas Ivoška received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bumin Baykutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Uygur Akpınar came free, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Uygur Akpınar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gvidonas Jakimavičius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsrafil Yağız to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game İsrafil Yağız who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's Bumin Baykutay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's goal looked a bit too open when Kęstutis Skersys came free, but Bumin Baykutay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FK Mintis Vilnius were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İsrafil Yağız stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bumin Baykutay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigitas Ivoška in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of FK Mintis Vilnius booed when CiZRe BoTaNSPoR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suavi Merih didn't get a good kick on the ball. If İsrafil Yağız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's Talip Yücel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Mustafa Juodis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bumin Baykutay was a little too slow when İsrafil Yağız got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-4. 80 minutes into the game, Mustafa Juodis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bumin Baykutay. Mustafa Juodis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After 83 minutes of play, CiZRe BoTaNSPoR's Uygur Akpınar made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gvidonas Jakimavičius was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, İsrafil Yağız fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sigitas Ivoška managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Mintis Vilnius's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigitas Ivoška was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bumin Baykutay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigitas Ivoška could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bumin Baykutay made a huge save. FK Mintis Vilnius's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
