FK Mintis Vilnius's Gvidonas Jakimavičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FK Mintis Vilnius from getting a goal against them. After having played for 10 minutes, Mustafa Juodis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Mintis Vilnius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Juodis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes of play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Ivoška made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boran Gencal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boran Gencal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsrafil Yağız in the 14th minute of play. Feyyaz Uçar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsrafil Yağız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boran Gencal having to interfere. The supporters of FK Mintis Vilnius booed when Bozkurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezer Erendiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giedrius Dulinskas struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Boran Gencal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Mintis Vilnius. Bozkurt's Boran Gencal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves İbrahim Ethem Kapar could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Gvidonas Jakimavičius however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Ivoška got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Boran Gencal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigitas Ivoška in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feyyaz Uçar was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Cevdet Ayvaz made a throw-in which Taner Sartık played forward. Feyyaz Uçar scored 3-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gvidonas Jakimavičius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Feyyaz Uçar came free, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Giedrius Dulinskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, İsrafil Yağız got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İsrafil Yağız struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İsrafil Yağız in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boran Gencal saved Bozkurt from getting behind. A collision led to Bozkurt getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Habib Türkmen hit a great ball. Giedrius Dulinskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Habib Türkmen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bozkurt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Bozkurt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
