An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Caragea in the 22nd minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Fabio Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Pancho Leceta made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Pancho Leceta notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu. Filip Mirciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calderón Palazuelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Blaj got free with Fabio Marines in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavian Caragea came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Marines could save by the left post. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Marines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gelu Murgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
