Eusebio Fiz charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Fiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Fiz. Samurai's Fredrik Bennet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Armando Beltza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fredrik Bennet. Armando Beltza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Bo Svanström kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Svanström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Oinatz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fredrik Bennet came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Oinatz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 19th minute. Mattias Smefeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Benigno Ilazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Amadeo Olivar got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Kalfhage in the 29th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Oinatz came free, but Fredrik Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrik Bennet made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Armando Beltza sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mainumby's Candido Cugat was substituted for Eusebio Fiz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Smefeldt was the one to do the kick off. Olov Bäckström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Gerardo Oinatz made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Bennet. Samurai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Fredrik Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Oinatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Honorato Omero came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mainumby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Omero couldn't finish the play. If Honorato Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Benet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Smefeldt in the 75th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Henry Kjellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Olivar in the 90th minute of play. Olov Bäckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ilazki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Bäckström ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mainumby fully deserved thier win.
