Ruy Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Caragea's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Ruy Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Blaj in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Caragea in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Frédson Rosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filip Mirciulescu. Frédson Rosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Blaj in the 38th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Leontin Trifănucă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to BVB 09 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eric Ciocâltea hit a great ball. Maurinho Prestes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Filip Mirciulescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 45th minute, Nistor Miulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandão Meirelles's late challenge caught a BVB 09's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandão Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurinho Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Octavian Caragea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Caragea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 minutes of play Papunhas EC's João Paulo Ribeiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. João Paulo Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira got control of the ball when Octavian Caragea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, David Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leontin Trifănucă hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Rosa in the 68th minute of play. Papunhas EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Octavian Caragea scored to the left of an out of position Ruy Oliveira, making the score, 1-2. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guilherme Moraes hit a great ball. Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Blaj in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira got control of the ball when Octavian Caragea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Papunhas EC defense, Octavian Caragea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Oliveira. The Papunhas EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valeriu Blaj in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Dragoş Ivasiuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Oliveira came out of the goal and Dragoş Ivasiuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira got control of the ball when Octavian Caragea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurinho Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere.
