Maurinho Prestes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Gilbert Pietras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilbert Pietras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artur do Nascimento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. Maurinho Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Pietras having to interfere. Artur do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gilbert Pietras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Prestes in the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Papunhas EC's Maurinho Prestes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Pietras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 69th minute, Artur do Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Pietras. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 74 minutes into the match, Frédson Rosa notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Gilbert Pietras. Gilbert Pietras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Papunhas EC's Maurinho Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruy Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dominik Perkowski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Rosa in the 90th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Gilbert Pietras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papunhas EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
