The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloisio Santander during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severo Vincent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xepe Gandia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When Anacleto Pabla fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Sails's protests and gave Anacleto Pabla a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Black Sails got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Pabla. In the 27th minute, one of Black Sails:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Black Sails. The referee gave Downchester City a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergio Oliver, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Black Sails's Nestor Ongile. 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Josep Odín recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Ongile. Josep Odín showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Josep Odín came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Downchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josep Odín couldn't finish the play. After 46 minutes, Jonny Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Downchester City and the Black Sails players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Jonny Garcia got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Black Sails's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lara came free, but Nestor Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Black Sails's goal looked a bit too open when Josep Odín came free, but Nestor Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Lara in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Ongile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonny Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Xepe Gandia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gregorio Raulo. When Sergio Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Downchester City's protests and gave Sergio Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Black Sails booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Raulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, Downchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javi Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Black Sails was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Ongile came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Downchester City's Javi Sanchez. But to his dismay, Javi Sanchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Black Sails's zone, Josep Odín stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Ongile came out of the goal and Josep Odín tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Black Sails's Moises Fertus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xepe Gandia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
