The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernard Okropny scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Cebo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Cebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Okropny's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Zdzislaw Lagiewniki hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Bernard Okropny looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bernard Okropny sped through Quitilipi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Cebo. Robustiano Clementi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Guaberto Cebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Okropny's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Federico Insúa sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernard Okropny went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Bernard Okropny put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Guaberto Cebo. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Oliveira in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Osmar Oliveira notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo. Guaberto Cebo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernard Okropny in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Cebo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Quitilipi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Insúa to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goalkeeper Guaberto Cebo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Palben. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Oliveira in the 56th minute of play. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A well placed Bernard Okropny short distance shot in the 68th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Ludwiczak in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Cebo saved Quitilipi from getting behind. After 71 minutes, Zbyszek Ludwiczak made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Cebo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Arnulfo Palben sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Okropny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sebastian Duda suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 83 minutes, Urbano Nuñez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Hieronim Gorzkiewicz was substituted for Sebastian Duda. In the 85th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Nuñez to maneuver through the defense.
