Baltazar Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raphael Comas was slow to take the kick. During this time LosPibardos F.C's players had a chance to rest. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Xulio Calvo scored to the left of an out of position William Lundgren, making the score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
